We’re pleased to confirm that the Department for Education has paid ERA Licence fees for all state-funded schools and academies in England. Therefore ERA Licences for all these schools have now been renewed for the period 1 April 2018 – 31 March 2019. A letter is being forwarded to all headteachers confirming these arrangements. The Centre for Education and Finance Management (CEFM) administers schools’ licensing for ERA and a copy of your school’s licence can be requested by emailing their ERA helpdesk firstname.lastname@example.org.
State schools in Wales and Scotland are licensed via CEFM either through blanket arrangements with Local Authorities or directly. These licence renewals are all currently in progress and to check your individual schools’ current status you can contact either CEFM or ERA directly.
Licences for state-funded schools in Northern Ireland have all been renewed via an agreement with the Education Authority to cover the period 1 April 2018 – 31 March 2019.
