Who we are

Case studies

Audio and video materials are inspiring and valuable resources for educators. We thought it would be useful to provide a forum for teachers and lecturers to share their experiences of how they successfully use broadcast material in their learning sessions or support materials.

Popular programmes can often provide a ‘way in’ for students on difficult or complex subjects. They can also provide a springboard for launching discussion, and clips of programmes can be included as illustrative tools in lessons or on Virtual Learning Environments.

We welcome many more case studies from all sectors of education so if you have an experience of using broadcast material in an engaging or creative way which you would like to share with other educators, there is a submission form here. There is also a facility for submitting comments on the featured case studies.

If you would like to talk to us about your ideas please email us at era@era.org.uk or telephone us on 020 7837 3222.
