Medbh McGuckian
This programme discusses the life and work of the Ulster poet, Medbh McGuckian. She was born and educated in Belfast. In 1979 she won the Poetry Society Competition with her poem, "The Flitting" and in 1980 she recieved the Eric Gregory Award. Her first volume of poetry, "The Flower Master" was published 1982. Her second collection is called "Venus in the rain".
