Julius Caesar
A televised recording of National Youth Theatre's modern dress production of Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, with its original jazz score. This production was an outside broadcast from the Ashcroft Theatre, Croydon. Over 400 young people were involved in the production. It was broadcast on Shakespeare’s 400th birthday. This was the first time a National Youth Theatre production had been presented on television.
