Synopsis
A 1975 BBC production of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost, broadcast as part of the Play of the Month drama strand. It was shot entirely on location in the gardens of Glyndebourne in Sussex. The young King of Navarre and three of his Lords, Berowne, Longaville and Dumain, swear to avoid women and to live in perpetual study and seclusion for three years. But the unexpected arrival of the beautiful Princess of France with her three Ladies, Rosaline, Katharine and Maria, somehow makes matters different.
