Synopsis
Laurence Olivier narrates the acclaimed documentary series telling the story of World War II. Stricken by humiliating defeat and emerging from deep economic depression, Germany responds to the hopes and promises of regained pride and prosperity seemingly offered by Adolf Hitler.
