Synopsis
Eight years after they killed two-year-old James Bulger , Jon Venables and Robert Thompson have, at the age of 18, been released. Jane Corbin reports on the storm of controversy this has caused, tells of the boys' struggles, assesses their progress and asks if it was right that the pair were freed.
