Synopsis
An examination of the sinews of Roman power, from the army through to engineering, told through the biography of Vespasian, who saved the Empire from collapse after the excesses of Nero. The events unfold with the help of reconstructions, CGI technology and visits to the old ruins of the Roman Empire.
