English Literature Revision Resource

We’ve produced a revision resource packed with informative TV and radio clips to help your students revise for their English Literature GCSE, A-Level and Highers exams.

The guide has been organised in to three sections: Shakespeare, 19th Century Literature and Modern Texts. They each cover the most common set texts across all major exam boards.

There is a varied selection of clips exploring context, theme and characters. Each resource lasts between one minute to one hour – making them ideal for using in the classroom, watching at home, or listening to on the go.

This revision guide has been designed to be shared with students, and they will not need an ERA login to be able to watch the clips.

Register with an ERA account

An ERA account gives you access to a wealth of free educational resources including the Video Streaming Platform with thousands of classroom-ready clips.

Registration is free if your school or institution holds and ERA Licence. Most educational establishments in the UK are already covered by an ERA Licence – you can check here: https://era.org.uk/the-licence/do-you-currently-hold-an-era-licence/.

The ERA Licence enables schools, colleges and universities to make educational use of recordings of TV and Radio broadcasts.
