Synopsis
Hip-Hop star, Akala meets the poet, Hannah Lowe, to explore Shelley’s poem ‘Ozymandias’ and how it illustrates the transitory nature of power. The links between the poem’s themes and the idea of creating and controlling life eg in Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein are also explored. Young poets discuss the language and meaning of the poem.
