Part 2 of a 1995 BBC screen adaptation by John Caird which compresses both parts of Henry IV into a three-hour television drama focusing on the father/son relationships in the plays. It tells the story of a young man's elevation from immature prince to responsible king and explores timeless themes against the brutal backdrop of medieval England. This production was transmitted in two parts with a five minute break.
