A Bit of Fry and Laurie | S1E5
Comedy sketch series written and performed by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. This episode includes a sketch, ‘Ignore’, in which Hugh Laurie is an earnest ‘modern’ lecturer standing in front of a inert audience which ignores him throughout. He is attempting to teach Romeo and Juliet and reads the parts of both Romeo and Juliet from Act III v ‘Wilt thou be gone’ and then challenges the audience to assess its relevance to modern-day Britain. Stephen Fry is Mr Lewis, his role not explained, who sits silent by the side of the blackboard; Laurie having told the audience to ignore him.

Upstart Crow | S1
Shakespearean sitcom: Will struggles to find inspiration for Romeo while at the same time having to deal with an angry actor, a very annoying house-guest and his family's not-terribly-helpful script suggestions.
