Prefaces to Shakespeare | Henry IV Part II

Henry IV Part II

The actor Anthony Quayle gives his personal view of Henry IV Part 2 and introduces this winter's season of Shakespeare's plays on BBC2. Quayle played Falstaff in the BBC TV Shakespeare productions of Henry IV Parts 1 and 2. "Falstaff is a walking paradox, and we're fascinated by him because his faults and failings are in all of us, only we're never as witty and funny as he is."
