Synopsis
A 1983 BBC television presentation of the first part of Shakespeare's Henry VI. Henry V is dead and war continues with France. The Wars of the Roses are threatening and the Duke of York taunts the Earl of Somerset. Henry VI is a patient witness. This was broadcast as part of the 37-play BBC Television Shakespeare project.
