A BBC radio Shakespeare adaptation of Henry IV Part I which features Falstaff, Shakespeare's greatest comic creation, who latches on to Hal, the young Prince of Wales, and educates him in the vices of the tavern. When Hotspur leads a rebellion against the King, Henry despairs of his son's degradation and neglect of duty. The time has come for Hal to redeem himself.
