Synopsis
Documentary in which novelist James Hawes attempts to demolish a number of myths and misconceptions about the life and work of cult writer Franz Kafka. The programme was filmed on location in Prague and Frankenstein in the Czech Republic.

Starring Tim Roth as Gregor, Steven Berkoff as Mr Samsa, Linda Marlowe as Mrs Samsa, Saskia Reeves as Greta, Gary Olsen as the Chief Clerk/Lodger. The Samsa family live like parasites off their industrious son Gregor. One morning Gregor finds it harder than usual to get up. Waving his arms and legs around in an attempt to get out of bed he realises that he has been changed into an insect.
