Synopsis

Seamus Heaney reflects on the different ways of celebrating Christmas. Joined by local children at the Ulster Folk Museum in Northern Ireland, he enjoys a Christmas dance and hymn. Children from Lisnasharragh, Orangefield and Saint Augustin's secondary schools perform a rhyming mummers' play. Saint Patrick enters first, followed by Beelzebub and Saint George.
