Synopsis
Part Seven of a fifteen-part BBC series comprising Shakespeare’s history plays from Richard II to Richard III (the two tetralogies). This is the first part of Henry V. With the accession of Henry V, a new age has begun. After being advised of his right by succession, Henry now resolves to lay claim to the French throne.

Henry V claims the French throne and the hand of the French Princess. When the Dauphin rejects these claims, he goes to war. In this episode the armies are camped near Agincourt.
