Synopsis

A 1971 BBC production of Shakespeare's classic comedy, broadcast as part of the Play of the Month drama strand. The play is set in 1865 and is performed in Edwardian costume. It was filmed partly on location in and around Scotney Castle, a folly set in the Kent countryside.
