Synopsis
By 1781, the British had enjoyed command of the sea and with it the ability to move thousands of troops. But in the concluding episode, Richard Holmes examines how an extraordinary naval blunder allowed the French fleet to isolate a large British garrison at Yorktown. Surrender was now inevitable.
