Synopsis
When Lyndon Baines Johnson assumed the office of president of the United States on the assassination of John F. Kennedy in November 1963, he ordered that all telephone conversations he conducted from the Oval Office be tape-recorded. Almost 200 hours of tapes, covering his first three months in office, have recently been declassified and form the basis of this special edition of Secret History.
