Synopsis
An unprecedented number of children in the UK are being diagnosed with and treated for mental health disorders. This documentary follows three of these children at the Tavistock and Portman's day unit, Gloucester House, a unique NHS-run primary and early secondary school for children with complex emotional, social and behavioural problems. The specialist team of teachers, mental health nurses, therapists and support workers work intensively with its 18 students, many of whom have been excluded from mainstream schools.
